UNSOLICITED SUBMISSIONS POLICY

VRC does not accept unsolicited ideas and material. Any unsolicited pitches, outlines, scripts, treatments, etc. will be discarded and will not be read. The purpose of this policy is to avoid any potential misunderstandings if your original work seems similar to a VRC project since many works and submissions are based on the same or similar ideas.

Be further advised that VRC may have access to or may create or have created materials and ideas similar or identical to the materials you have presented in terms of theme, idea, design, format, and other respects. VRC is not obligated in any manner to you for any of the materials in your email. You shall not be entitled to compensation or credit of any kind for use of any such similar or identical materials, which may have been independently created or may have come to VRC from another source. VRC is free to use without any obligation to you any materials which we would be free to use if the materials had not been included in your email or which are in the public domain, or which were independently conceived by another person or entity prior to or after your submission.

Accordingly, we ask that you not send us any original creative ideas or materials. If, despite our request, you submit to us any creative ideas and/or materials, VRC will not be obligated to treat your creative ideas and materials (“Submission”) as confidential or proprietary and the Submission will become VRC’s property.

FURTHER, BY MAKING SUCH SUBMISSION, YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT WE HAVE NO OBLIGATION OF CONFIDENCE WITH RESPECT THERETO, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY USE OR DISCLOSURE OF ANY SUBMISSION, YOU HAVE NO CLAIM BASED ON SUCH SUBMISSION, AND WE WILL EXCLUSIVELY OWN ALL KNOWN OR LATER-EXISTING RIGHTS TO THE SUBMISSION WORLDWIDE AND WILL BE ENTITLED TO THE UNRESTRICTED USE OF THE SUBMISSION FOR ANY PURPOSE, WITHOUT COMPENSATION TO THE PROVIDER OF THE SUBMISSION.
